LoFiA – A LoFi sampler build workshop
LoFiA is a LoFi sampler, an electronic instrument that uses a chip called ISD1820. The purpose of this circuit is voice recording.
During the workshop we’ll learn how to build the instrument that can be used to create loops by sampling external sounds.
Previous knowledge in soldering or electronics is not needed. One of the aims of the workshop is also to give basic knowledge of electronics and a good soldering method.
The workshop will be led by Giorgio Alloatti and Alessandro Citterio, musicians and diy instrument builders resident in PAS.
At the end of the workshop all participants will have their own finished and functioning instrument, we will dedicate time for various troubleshooting
