Bio on Jem:
Jem Bosatta doesn’t do background. He’s the kind of performer for whom you stop in your tracks, put down whatever you’re holding, and just listen. The raw power of his stage presence has been captured in his debut EP, Loss & Love: a collection of six sparsely decorated songs as simple as they are beautiful.

Jem grew up among the hills and hymns of southern England, making the switch to Berlin in 2018. In various projects and guises, he has seen stages from Milan to Cologne to New York. But the bulk of his activity and collaboration takes place in his adoptive city, where he has established himself as “one to watch” in the budding Berlin folk scene. His stripped-back style and knack for storytelling belie his rustic roots, recalling Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake.
