IVA NOVA

The four adventurous women of Iva Nova draw inspiration from Slavic folklore, yet their extravagant music possesses a wild, distinct character all its own. Their musical expression is intensely energetic and spirited—at times playful and humorous, always feminine and proud. When the accordionist begins to play, one is instantly transported to vast, open landscapes; yet, as the synthesizer kicks in just eight bars later, the atmosphere shifts, plunging the listener into the subversive, gritty energy of the big city. Founded in St. Petersburg in 2002, Iva Nova released their debut album in 2004, launching an impressive live career that has spanned both Russia and the international stage. Since then, these engaging musicians have toured extensively, bringing their unmistakable, gripping style to clubs and festivals across the globe. In December 2024, Iva Nova released their new album, ‘Mnogonastut,’ once again drawing inspiration from the musical traditions of their homeland for these ten fresh tracks. At the same time, they explore a vast spectrum of creative styles—meaning their live shows can encompass anything from soulful, evocative ballads to high-octane punk rock. This musical anarchy is the true hallmark of Iva Nova!

IVA NOVA

sofort in endlose Weiten.
