Salgari Records got his name from Emilio Salgari, an italian novelist who knew how to imagine, describe and convey exotic literary scenarios,

galvanising his reader’s imagination although he had never traveled outside his homeland.

Similarly, modern electronic music producers imagine a new musical scenario and, closed in their studios, sample music from all over the globe to unite people, languages and cultures.

Even if we live in a world surrounded by walls and barriers, we can still connect the people

because music knows no boundaries.

Voz De La Frontera
The music of this duo comes from afar, gathering and blending sounds from around the world to transport the listener and draw them into a profound flow of sound. Voz de la Frontera’s ethereal melodies merge into an evocative, organic and universal sound that transcends imaginations and boundaries.
Giulia Impache’s voice meets Davide Vizio’s electronics to create suggestions and bring different sounds into dialogue.

Poligra (Migra & Polimnia)
Migra
Migra is the new solo project of Davide Vizio, founder of the Salgari Records label, and
producer of Nina Simmons & Voz De La Frontera.
Migra is a journey through musical cultures, a listening path that leads to distant places and
times.
Electronic productions, hypnotic grooves and sounds that migrate like flocks over the
continents of the world".

Polimnia
POLIMNIA aka Bea Zanin is an italian producer and musician based in Turin.
She released her first EP Me-Mo in November 2021 for Salgari Records. She
works on the contrast between the nostalgic sounds of european music of the
first half of the 20th century and the rhythmic aesthetics of downtempo and
organic house. In search of the Italian-touch, she would like to find a sound
that distinguishes the Italianness beyond all cliques. She writes and performs
music for theater-dance and contemporary circus.
