Confronting Noises #6: Burnt Sand Learning to Sing

8 December @ 7:00 pm 10:00 pm

aNoise invites you to Confronting Noises #6: Burnt Sand Learning to Sing, the sixth chapter in our ongoing performance series at PAS Berlin dedicated to contemporary experimental, improvised, and electronic music. This edition centers on the premiere performance of Burnt Sand Learning to Sing, a new album by Chi Him Chik, Aquiles Hadjis, and Aiii, presented as a live conversation between saxophone, sculptural electronics, and a listening machine learning to improvise.

Throughout the evening, the series weaves together different approaches to sound and performance: multimedial listening, spoken word, electroacoustic improvisation, and ensemble playing. As with previous editions, PAS Berlin serves as a home base and meeting point for artists from Berlin and beyond, extending the Confronting Noises focus on dialogue, exchange, and sonic experimentation.
