Jonathon Haffner
is an alto saxophonist from NY. Jonathon has performed/recorded with Butch Morris, Kenny Wollesen, Bill Frisell, Jason Moran, Steven Bernstein, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Uri Caine, Jim Black, Eddie Henderson, Chris Potter, Sex Mob, Cindi Lauper, Jesse Harris, Brazilian Girls, Brian Blade, Graham Haynes, Jonas Mekas, The Nublu Orchestra, Ilhan Ersahin, Elliott Sharp, Art Baron, David Binney, Rickie Lee Jones and Red Baraat.
Jonathan Lindhorst
is a Berlin based saxophonist and composer who is not only an active member of the Berlin jazz and free improvised music scene, but also plays regularly in New York and in his home country of Canada. In addition to leading his Canadian based project The Limerence Quartet, he is a member of Innocent When you Dream: The Music of Tom Waits, Fake Noise, Hover Trout, and various other Berlin based collective projects.
Sofia Salvo
Currently working on her first baritone solo material to be released on Relative Pitch Records. Her active projects include “Revuelta de ave” with Lorena Izquierdo, “Seriously? Wow”, with Margaret Unknown and Kido Gohn, and “SSS,sss?S!!” with dancer Siri Salminen. Also a recent past project, “CATARAT” with Claire Nico, Helli Nova and Marta Masternak. She’s also part of “Fallen Crooner” with Robert Lucaciu, Pascal Klewer, Shannon Barnett, Moritz Baumgaertner and Laura Totenhagen, and Christian Kuhn’s “Kuhn Fu”.
Keisuke Matsuno
Keisuke plays the guitar. And he creates sounds & noise through self-made analog audio signal processing. He also writes instrumental songs about the small things in life. And does other things that inspire him. What inspires you?
Keisuke plays solo, with his trio (w/ Andrea Parkins & Steve Heather), his quartet (w/ Evi Filippou, Alexander Binder, Hanno Stick), Wood River, Hues, Smashing Humans, The Killing Popes, Jim Black Quartet, John Zorn’s Bagatelles, Trio Schmetterling
Kellen Mills is a bassist, composer and improvisor based in Berlin since 2014. He currently leads TRYON, a large ensemble founded in Berlin 2020 *w/ Rieko Okuda, Erik Leuthäuser, Jasper Stadhouders, Taiko Saito, Eliad Wagner, Edith Steyer, Jonathon Lindhorst, Dovydas Stalmokas, Oli Steidle, Philipp Gropper, Grgur Savic. and many others. Also co lead and co composed for avant garde and prog rock band Alex’s Hand from 2011-2019 with Nic Barnes. Regularly performs in varying Berlin based free improvised projects. Likes Pasta and NYPD Blue.
Marcello Busato is a drummer, percussionist, composer and improvisor based in Berlin since 2002. Where he starts collaborations with many musicians exploring different musical styles but focusing especially on experimental music, free jazz, noise and radical improvisation. Member of the quartet Sink with Andrea Ermke, Arthur Rother and Chris Abrahams, the trio Votomt with Ignaz Schick and Louis Rastig, the duo XING/Busato with Wojtek Bajda he also performed with Tobias Delius,Els Vandeweyer, Christian Meaas Svendsen among many others.
