SUMMARY:J.S. Bach by scheer (comp) & Khokhlov (v) / Tuerlinckx & Gordoa / Cater & Rasten
DESCRIPTION:Two parts concert around and in PAS. \n\n\n\nFirst part starts at 19:30 in the courtyard near by the water. (notice! audience not on the other side of the river\, there will be chairs to seat): \n\n\n\nComposition: cyril scheerViolin: Gleb KhokhlovJ.S. Bach: Sonatas\, Partitas\, pauses and dronesOpen Air \n\n\n\nSecond part inside PAS: \n\n\n\nAnaïs Tuerlinckx – prepared pianoEmilio Gordoa – vibraphone \n\n\n\nSeamus Cater – voice and concertinaFredrik Rasten – voice and guitar \n\n\n\nMore info: \n\n\n\ncyril scheer / Gleb Khokhlov — J.S. Bach’s Sonatas\, Partitas\, pauses and drones for violin solo‘Sonatas\, Partitas\, pauses and drones’ is a piece exploring J.S. Bach’soriginal movements from his solo violin works connecting with (any)surroundings. It offers the observation of various focus shiftings while drifting through the whole blocks of original scores\, prolonged lacunae between\, and the extraneous sounds produced by a performer. This work has been written/found during the pandemic time. This will be the second version of it\, reframed and a bit recomposed by adding some floating sounding points to extend the perceptive experience. \n\n\n\nSeamus Cater & Fredrik RastenSharing a love of English and Scottish traditional song\, Seamus Cater and Fredrik Rasten search for a grounded resonance\, both literal and musical. The repertoire explores existing ballads and proposes ballads which may never have been written in song form. At their first concert they were announced as playing old songs with new tunings\, while in fact these are old songs with even older tunings. The collectors which gathered and revived folk song might somehow equate to Helmholtz and Partch gathering ancient Greek tunings\, Rasten and Cater tread delicate paths between these revivalists. \n\n\n\n1 part: courtyard\, behind the building of PAS\, from right side2 part: Aufgang II\, 1 OG

SUMMARY:Dal Fiume alla Notte / From the River to the Night @PAS BERLIN
DESCRIPTION:Dal Fiume Alla Notte From the River to the Night \n\n\n\nSalgari Records family in Berlin for an unique long day show! \n\n\n\n(in case of rain\, the event will be held indoors) \n\n\n\nPart 1 – Fiume / River – Outdoorstart 3 amwarm up w Migra & Polimnia djset5 pm Voz De La Frontera live \n\n\n\nPart 2 – Night/ Notte – Indoorstart 6 pmMigra & Polimnia djset10 pm Live Voz & Dubla Visuals Show11 pm-00 am.. Poligra djset & Dubla Visuals Show. \n\n\n\nSalgari Records got his name from Emilio Salgari\, an italian novelist who knew how to imagine\, describe and convey exotic literary scenarios\, \n\n\n\ngalvanising his reader’s imagination although he had never traveled outside his homeland. \n\n\n\nSimilarly\, modern electronic music producers imagine a new musical scenario and\, closed in their studios\, sample music from all over the globe to unite people\, languages and cultures. \n\n\n\nEven if we live in a world surrounded by walls and barriers\, we can still connect the people \n\n\n\nbecause music knows no boundaries. \n\n\n\nLinkhttps://linktr.ee/salgarirecordshttps://salgarirecords.bandcamp.com/musichttps://soundcloud.com/salgarirecords \n\n\n\nVoz De La FronteraThe music of this duo comes from afar\, gathering and blending sounds from around the world to transport the listener and draw them into a profound flow of sound. Voz de la Frontera’s ethereal melodies merge into an evocative\, organic and universal sound that transcends imaginations and boundaries.Giulia Impache’s voice meets Davide Vizio’s electronics to create suggestions and bring different sounds into dialogue. \n\n\n\nGiulia Impache: Voice\, fxDavide Vizio: Electronics \n\n\n\nhttps://salgarirecords.bandcamp.com/…/voz-de-la…https://salgarirecords.bandcamp.com/…/voz-de-la… \n\n\n\nPoligra (Migra & Polimnia)MigraMigra is the new solo project of Davide Vizio\, founder of the Salgari Records label\, andproducer of Nina Simmons & Voz De La Frontera.Migra is a journey through musical cultures\, a listening path that leads to distant places andtimes.Electronic productions\, hypnotic grooves and sounds that migrate like flocks over thecontinents of the world". \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPolimniaPOLIMNIA aka Bea Zanin is an italian producer and musician based in Turin. She released her first EP Me-Mo in November 2021 for Salgari Records. Sheworks on the contrast between the nostalgic sounds of european music of thefirst half of the 20th century and the rhythmic aesthetics of downtempo andorganic house. In search of the Italian-touch\, she would like to find a soundthat distinguishes the Italianness beyond all cliques. She writes and performsmusic for theater-dance and contemporary circus. \n\n\n\nhttps://salgarirecords.bandcamp.com/album/polimnia-me-mo-ephttps://www.instagram.com/polimnia_italiantouch/
