SUMMARY:Joel Grip / Hiroki Mano. Closing of the exhibition "At the foot of a face"
DESCRIPTION:Closing of the exhibition “At the foot of a face”Oil paintings and drawings by Joel Grip \n\n\n\nJoel Grip – double bassHiroki Mano – tap dance \n\n\n\n19:00Entrance in the courtyard\, Aufgang II\, 1OGcurated by Lena Czerniawska \n\n\n\nJoel Grip pushes the act of being in between radical and familiar rooms of thought and encounter. In the making of images (let them be musical or drawn) he exerts a continuous flow of letting go allowing for the mysteries of love\, swing and being to appear at the foot of the face of the other. \n\n\n\nJoel has been drawing/painting his whole life as a way of gesticulating movement and language and to connect and communicate emotion. Many of his images have been used for announcing concerts and recordings (Au Topsi Pohl\, Umlaut Records\, Hagenfesten\, Klub Demboh…). “At the foot of a face” is his first exhibition. You’ll see a selection of recent year’s oil painting and drawings. The section bears in mind and honors the recently passed away musician\, artist and writer Tristan Honsinger. As a bassist\, Joel Grip is active in groups reimagining and celebrating collective music: [ahmed]\, Vaka\, [ism]\, Oùat\, Klub Demboh\, Sapat\, and small ensembles with Sven-Åke Johansson.

SUMMARY:Signature Series by Ivan Mršić
DESCRIPTION:Signature Series by Ivan Mršić \n\n\n\nThis project will be never completed\, signatures are part of our life that deals with law\, the name of a person written with his or her own hand to signify that the writing which precedes accords with his or her wishes or intentions. It is the act of signing something important\, for me will be a unity of art and life\, chance \, playfulness and present in time. Signature is a live thing\, forever engaging but also full of different influences. Signature is connected to literature\, art history\, music \, dance\, typography and many other things. \n\n\n\nBasically your distinctive mark\, your nomadic trajectory\, that follows you wherever you go. \n\n\n\nExhibition opens tonight on event organized by Ivan and will be open till the end of the week during the concerts. Program on our website: https://pas-berlin.org/programme/

SUMMARY:Lena Czerniawska "Anxiety"
DESCRIPTION:Lena Czerniawska “Anxiety”.Open during the concert program \n\n\n\nABOUT THE EXHIBITION“We don’t know what we are afraid of\, we don’t know what ails us\, and yet something ails us\, we would like to get out of the situation we are in\, to breathe freely\, but we don’t know what its evil consists in.” writes renowned psychiatrist Antoni Kepinski about anxiety.Yesterday pushes against tomorrow\, we can’t stop even for a moment\, because there are no moments free from life. We have to constantly wade into the future. The past pushes us into the gap of the unknown. This flight into the darkness can take the shape of an exciting expedition\, but also a terrifying fall.I try to explore the anxiety with an image\, to put a handset to the palpitating heart of our present. I find the delusions creeping over us\, tightly wrapped around the fragility of life.Lena Czerniawska \n\n\n\nmore about the artist – lenaczerniawska.weebly.com \n\n\n\nEntrance in the courtyard\, Aufgang II\, 1 OG
